Overview

A 25mm nominal expandable braided heat shrink sleeve (commonly known as woven fabric heat shrink) is a heavy-duty hybrid protection loom engineered for large-diameter cable management. It combines the intense abrasion resistance of a braided textile sleeve with the tight, shape-conforming seal of polyolefin heat shrink tubing. When exposed to heat, the cross-linked polyolefin warp threads contract, forcing the interwoven polyester weave to shrink radically and form an ultra-secure, rattle-free skin over thick wire bundles, battery links, or cooling hoses

Specifications

Nominal Supplied Diameter: 25mm (~1.0 inch). This is the inner diameter as delivered, before heat activation. Fully Recovered Diameter: 12.5mm (~0.5 inches). This is the minimum size it will shrink down to when fully heated. Optimal Cable Bundle Range: Designed to fit snugly over wire clusters or hoses measuring anywhere from 14mm up to 24mm in outside diameter.
