Key features
Dual-Bearing Pilot: The standout feature is the two stacked ball bearings at the tip. This doubled surface area provides a much more stable “ride” along your template, preventing the bit from accidentally dipping into the workpiece if your template is thin or has small imperfections. Deep Template Support: Ideal for use with stacked Smart Templates. Because the bearing surface is twice as tall, it can accurately track two 1/4″ templates stacked together for complex, multi-layered beauty panels.1/2″ Shank Rigidity: The heavy-duty 1/2″ shank offers maximum resistance to vibration and “chatter.” This ensures that even during deep cuts in 18mm (3/4″) MDF, the bit remains perfectly vertical and doesn’t “walk” away from the template.High-Volume 2-Flute Design: The two-blade configuration features large gullets for aggressive chip evacuation. This allows you to trim material faster and with less heat buildup than 3-flute bits, which is vital for preventing acrylic from melting or wood from burning.Industrial Tungsten Carbide: The cutting edges are tipped with premium carbide, designed to stay sharp through abrasive materials like PVC, fire-rated MDF, and non-ferrous metals (Aluminum).
